Blu-ray recommendations?

So I've been deliberating over getting a blu-ray drive for my computer lately (i.e. the last six months). I've been looking at a few but I've heard that sometimes getting proper software to work is a pain. I'm looking at a few drives:

The first one is a little slower but it has decent reviews, and is half the price of the other so I'd probably jump on that. Has anybody used a blu-ray player in their PC and how was the experience setting up software?

I have the LG Blu-Ray drive and I like it a lot. Speed seems good, backwards compatible with DVDs and CDs. Not much else you can say about a disk drive. :-)

As far as software, I used the software that came with the drive. I believe it was PowerDVD or some equivalent, which did what I wanted it to do, but wasn't the greatest software. It had a slower interface and some features were hard to find, but it was much better than what is currently out there.
