XPL Playoffs!

While it is unofficial at present, it appears almost certain that we will be advancing to the 16 team playoff for XPL. Pat yourselves on the back, everyone :)

What's more, it seems extremely likely that we will be finishing in the top 8 of the league, which will award us with an extension to the Invitation league next season! Keep on eye on this page (http://xpleague.com/index.php?p=league&step=standings&id=148) to see where we end up!

Our first round game will be due Sun, July 18th, so Sam and I will definitely be back for it. However, I've made Ian interim scheduler so that he can get the game time set for us :)

With Season 1 announced to start when I get back from Ireland on July 13th as well, it looks to be a big month for LoL and MAV! Get hyped yo! ^^

Dilemma guys: we can request a makeup match for our only remaining forfeit win and get a real match in before playoffs start on July 18th. We would likely play either Legion Gaming, Clutch Sea Men, or Good Counsel Trash, the last two of which are pretty middle of the road teams. We have two teams very close to us (Lzuruha and Legion Gaming, and Pwnzerfaust isn't super far off) that will likely surpass us if they get enough makeup wins in. We stand little chance of losing our playoff spot either way, but a high chance of losing our top 8 spot if we opt not to makeup the match.

I think I will try to get us to play the make up match on the Thursday the 15th, as we previously planned to play the Playoff game. I am open to playing on the 13th, 14th, or 16th as well, but it has to be one of those four days, as I won't be back from Ireland until the 13th.
